To begin to answer you question(s), here is a question for you: When you say "memory stick" are you referring to a Sony MemoryStick, or perhaps a portable USB Drive? Both of those can be easily located at any office supply, computer or even MegaMart type store. It seems to me that storage capacity vs. price would be the main concern for either item. Size might also be a factor for a USB drive, as you might be concerned with how you would be transporting it. The smaller drives can hold as much as 2Gb or as little as 128Mb. If memory serves, once you exceed 2 Gb you're looking at a slightly larger device, physically speaking. Price range can also vary wildly. You can spend around $20 on the smaller drives or $120 on the bigger ones. Of course, you can also find the higher capacity drives for as little as $20, if you shop carefully. Speaking of being careful, the sturdiness of the device might also be of concern. I've heard of them breaking off in the USB port, losing the cap which covers the male end of the device is also common, and I imagine you could crush one if you're not careful. Most of what I have said is probably only relevant to USB drives, which is the only thing I really have any experience with. If you are actually referring to a Memory Stick for your Sony or Sony-Ericsson portable device, such as a digital camera or camcorder, then I suspect you could care less about most of what I said.
