The screws aren't needed, and order doesn't matter. As soon as the engine has the correct wires soldered and twisted, it'll tell you you got it right. So the puzzle is simply figuring out what needs soldering and what needs twisting.

One common incorrect assumption is that you can't have the same wire soldered and twisted at the same time.
