efsm help with organic dead thing

ok its probably staring me in the face but i keep wandering aimlessly around the school not knowing wat to do and occasionally dying. My inventory is:
Time Machine
Chalk
Eraser
Mop-Head
Wire
Blue Paint
Chart
Glasses
Mrs. Pinto's CD
Wrench
Bottle
Cheese
Glue Stick
Perma-Tie
CD Player
Coffee Filter
Grass
Scalpel
Chain
Demerit
Mirror
Soldering Iron
and the wrench and soldering iron are tied to the chain. I've already tried getting a leaf but they didnt like it and i tried getting a branch but i fall out of the tree every time. pleassseeee help meee.
(o and by the way sorry if someone already asked this question earlier because right now the search engine is broken so i cant look for hints)
