Well, you've got the item you need to get the scalpel sharpened.
Now, you just need a place to do it.

I would suggest you do what most people would do- research.
Check out the library. You'll get information there that, with a
little observational effort will show you what to do.

Also, think about how things are sharpened. Usually by getting
something to rub against something else.
