i think i need a hook for fantasy quest

i have a
sack
carrot
rope
branch
shovel
gold & silver key
sword
shovel
scroll
hammer
nails
bow
arrow
fishing pole
club
ticket
pass ring
sunstone

i cant get up to the second floor of the tower.
my rope keeps falling back down. i assume i need a hook of sorts. but, alas, i cant find it
help!
