GOA- Stuck. Again. For the third time.

This is not a lucky game for me. It really isn't. Anyway, I'm in that deserty city with the really long impossible to spell name, and I can't figure out what exactly it is that I'm supposed to be doing. I wandered around for a while, left my crate in the shack, saw the horse, attempted to steal the hammer, etc. I read other posts and figured out that I'm supposed to be working at the tavern to earn money but there isn't any option to. Somebody please un-stick me!

Food Rations
Tinderbox
