I think you meant to type TOA. anyway. for the time being, you'll probably have to leave V & S where you found them, along with the costume. unless you've already discovered a way into the abandoned building, which I doubt.
If,for some reason, the game doesn't give you an option to leave the costume, maybe you have to walk around with them for a little bit first ? then your "character" can realize she has nowhere to go with them, for the time being. hope this helps !
