The replies to this post were deleted by mistake. I was cleaning up some old forum posts and made a typo.

However, I'd just like to point out that regular visitors to a humor site who can't take a harmless joke are probably in the wrong place. There was nothing mean-spirited about it. I can understand why someone who fell for it would be concerned, but not why that same person would not be relieved and have a good natured chuckle over it after it was revealed as a simple joke to suit the occasion.

Faux Pas, I think it was quite clever. And most people fortunately most people seemed to have appreciated it, so, nice try, but you have a LONG way to go to beat me in the absurdly failed jokes department.
