From the in-laws. I grew up in Littlestown, which is about half an hour from York. But they don't use guns; they're more likely to send the dogs after you. Anyhow, good luck with the move! It's a lot flatter there than in New England, but probably not so much as it is in Ohio. And I highly recommend visiting Chodorus State Park for picnics, which is in Hanover. And learn all about the Civil War in Gettysburg, too, if you haven't already.
