Many moons ago, in the Sunday comics, Dagwood Bumstead was painting a small item with blue paint. It might have been a birdhouse. Anyway, he dripped a little paint on a chair, so he put it up on a table and painted the chair. Naturally he dripped a little paint on the table so he painted that, and in doing so got some on the floor. In the last panel, Blondie got home just in time to see him putting the finishing touches on their solid blue house. History repeats itself repeats itself repeats itself. . .
