I've already given the soothsayer 3 gold coins but she didn't give me anything in return.

Also, I've already passed the cat, opened the flaming drawbridge, explored the forest and garden, etc. Can't get into the tower, can't get past the wood sprite, can't think of anyone else to talk to in the game. Hmm.
