I really appreciate the help, but I think that I have been there and still can't find it. Is it where the orange flowers are? Here is my inventory in case it helps:

Anything that I am missing? Perhaps I did already find the garden gold and I need to be looking in the forest. However, I have explored that area extremely thoroughly also and only know of one clearing (with leaves that can be kicked around - I think I found a coin here earlier). I seem to be stuck without this gold coin. Is there anything else I can be doing besides trying to find the coin?
