Completely stuck in POA

I have no idea what I am supposed to be doing....

So far, I have completed both of the tasks that my boss gave me. I have found the cat (which i returned to Caroline). I gave the stupid kid a toy gun and now he wants something better.
Talked to the Doctor guy, got access to the mines (and wandered around in there for ages!!) I rescued the guy trapped under the boulder, and helped someone with their drill.
I can only get one of the stupid rubber tubes to fix the vent in the kitchen..
Help help help. I feel like i am going crazy.
