Have checked that building outside town? You might want to consider what you find there. And by that I mean go and have a drink, or at least a friendly little chat. After a full consideration of the matter, look around in the castle and you might find that an opportunity to do some more considering

And I would also consider visiting the bakery and talking to the person there. Maybe he has a friend or two who could help you?
