Speaking of great practical jokes. I live in the South. We have this great invention called a potato gun. If you don't know what that is I'll explain. One takes a piece of PVC pipe about one meter long and attaches to it a piece about one quarter as long and twice as wide. To the wider end one attaches a plug with a device that has flint on it so it creates a spark on the inside when flicked. One then unscrews the back. Then one takes a potato and shoves a piece tightly into the smaller, longer piece of pipe. They use a stick to push it as far as it can go. One then sprays hair spray in the wider end and quickly closes the back. Aim, flick the flint and BOOM!!!! The potato shoots out the end and can travel for well over 300 yards if done correctly. Very much fun if one uses other things besides potatoes. Like other food from the cafeteria or dolls, underwear, rocks, anything goes.
So all that to say, our dorm was located 100 feet from a busy highway. A little beer and some disscussion happened and we decided to shoot stuff at the president of the college's house across the highway. And easy distance for a potato gun. We grabbed as much food and other shootable items as possible and shot it all. No one ever caught us. I think the president wasn't home that night or something. He never came out and we never heard anything about it. That was probably one of the most fun things I've ever done.
