mapping inability! POA (spoilers possible?)

I was going to write it out but I think that would confuse you as much as me!
I keep thinking I'm on the right track (no pun intended)but most directions are really screwing with my head. I've ended up with so far 3 blacks, 3 reds, 1 white and part of a yellow. A stream that just does what it likes and now I'm lost, 'cos I stopped mapping, thinking I was going insane. I've got this written down, drawn and it still doesn't make sense.
(Oh, why, oh why couldn't you have given me a map!!!)
I know I've got to map it out - it's just that so far I'm doing a really C@@P job of it!
