goa help the frustration has set in

> I am back to where I ended on my last game that got lost. Now the problem I have is going into the blacksmith and having him make me that certian item I need. I can only get a sword or armor which is not a possibility at the moment. Am I missing something that I need to continue. I am totally lost. Here are the items that I have.

I have the picture and magnifying glass I need for the blacksmith but it doesnt give me the option to get the ring made by him. Is there something else I need or have to get rid of before going to him again?
