I agree. I never had too much of a problem like
yours, though.

My first year in college, I had a teacher who
actually took great joy and fun in purposefully
butchering the names on the roll call the first
day of class. I thought it was amusing,
actually, because he wasn't being serious. I
don't think anyone was offended by it.
