My high school principal spelled my first name wrong when he signed me up for the online AP Gov't course I take. He spelled Matthew with only one t: Mathew for those who can't visualize it. I HATE that spelling of Matthew.

My 7th grade algebra teacher always called me Mark, for some odd reason. There was a D.J. in the class and he called him C.J.

And people always ask me if Clark (my surname) has an e on the end, even when I spell it out for them.

People always spell my dad's first name (Cory) wrong. He's got a bunch of certificates from some of the training courses he's taken on which his name is spelled "Corey." He always gets asked for a spelling of his name, and every time, people say they've never seen it spelled that way before.
