is there more than one thing in the well?

also i cant find the stupid dead fish or figure out how to break the sword, i've tried to hit the boulder of doom or whatever its called but it hasn't worked.

Diving Mask
Magic Armor of Magic
Ticket
Life Preserver

Free Trial Sword of Failing
Pick
Key of Questioning
Food Rations

can anyone help me out here?
