While there's not much mystery to this episode of the film series, The Saint's Double Trouble is one of the better ones, featuring a long string of cons and tricks played by Simon Templar and the villain, each trying to gain the upper hand. Things look pretty hopeless for much of it, but all works out in the end thanks to a little ingenuity. This energetic episode was the fourth of five that starred George Sanders, whose sophistication and wry sense of humor brought much to the role.
