For this fourth That's Entertainment! compilation, released on video in a boxed set with the other three, there apprently wasn't a whole lot of truly classic footage left to choose from. More of a sales pitch for other MGM videos than a true tribute to the musical age, few of these musical numbers are noteworthy outside of the context of the movies they appear in. "Prehistoric Man," from On the Town, is the foremost exception, a real comic treat that the first three That's Entertainment! anthologies somehow overlooked.
