This comedy has Debbie Reynolds as a bluntly honest, smart, but inexperienced country bumpkin abruptly thrown, by circumstance, into upper crust society. The film is more warm and endearing than outright funny, provoking smiles more from delight than from gags. Reynolds is excellent.
