It was practically a requirement that every comedy series from the 1940s have a haunted house episode. The East Side Kids had more than one. Spooks Run Wild is the first of them. It's pretty standard stuff, for both the series and the genre, but a cleverly cast Bela Lugosi, though mostly wasted, does add a macabre air to the proceedings.
