Reviews and Comments

Shiloh 2: Shiloh Season is one of those rare sequels that's as good as the original. Like its predecessor, Shiloh 2 is a family film with substance and moral character. The first movie was about Marty Preston earning the right to keep a dog owned by an abusive owner, Judd Travers. This movie is about Marty learning to love and respect Judd in spite of his cruel actions. It's refreshing to see a movie that understands that villains are people too, and although what goes around may also come around, it is not our right or duty as human beings to close the circle ourselves. It's also refreshing to see this in a movie that works: it's absorbing and convincing and never slips into false sentimentality.
