It's a shame to see Lee Van Cleef, who left an indelible impression in B-westerns and spaghetti westerns such as The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, struggling to save face in such pedantic television fare as this. When the television series The Master failed, episodes were paired up and repackaged as a series of TV movies. This one illustrates how Cleef's ninja character (!) meets up with a kid who winds up becoming his protege. This episode's singular point of interest (and a dubious one at that) is an early appearance by Demi Moore.
