Ma and Pa Kettle take a trip to Paris this time, with culture clash gags aplenty. There are mix-ups with gangsters, too: this installment seems to be trying to recapture what made Ma and Pa Kettle Go To Town work so well. Some of the humor works and some doesn't quite, but the film is as charming as its ever-likable characters are. Watch for the scene on the dance floor, one of the series' funniest.
