This movie has so many different names, I'm not sure what to call it. I've seen it alternately called Highlander 3: The Sorcerer, Highlander 3: The Final Dimension, Highlander: The Final Dimension, and just plain Highlander 3.
But, whatever you call it, it's dumb. It's not nearly as bad as the second entry in the series. In fact, this movie is more of a true sequel to the first than Highlander 2 was. But it is a sequel to a movie that didn't need one, and logically shouldn't have one. Once again the scriptwriters used some pretty tortured logic to reconcile what we see at the end of the first movie with what we're presented in the beginning of the third (or the "true" second movie, if you're a Highlander purist.)
To be truthful, it looks more like a remake of the original than a sequel. But no matter how you slice it, it comes up short of the original by a vast margin.
