Bad Boys is a clone of many cop buddy movies that have come before, the only real difference being the particular stars involved -- Martin Lawrence and Will Smith -- and their chemistry together. The drug plot is strictly routine, and the action scenes are uninspired. The dialogue, however, is funny as often as it is simply crude. Fans of the stars may enjoy their repartee. I didn't like the movie, but it did make me laugh.

What bothered me most isn't even a criticism but a simple observation: Martin Lawrence's character has got to have the least understanding wife of all time. At least, I hope so.
