Editing Stats
If a character has any 'points left,' these points may be distributed amongst
the character's various ability attributes at any time by selecting 'Edit
Stats' from the 'View Character' screen. On the 'Edit Stats' screen, you can
distribute these points pretty much as you please, as few or as many of them
as you like. (If you don't distribute them all, the remainder will still be
around to distribute in the future.) You can't decrement attribute values
below their original values, nor can you increment values beyond 30 (only
special equipment can increase attribute values beyond this threshold).
Otherwise, you have free reign over how these points get distributed. Once
you hit the 'OK' button that appears at the bottom of the page, the new
attribute values are permanent and may not be undone.
Note the red column at the right, which lists minimum attribute values for
each class. If you plan to change the character's class in the future, this
table lists the minimum attribute values you need to retrain your character
as any of the other classes. For example, if you would eventually like to
retrain your character as a druid, but you aren't qualified to do that yet,
note the values for 'druid' in this table and dispense your points
to the attributes that are short. If you're not interested in changing your
character's class at all, then this table is not a concern.
