I'm sorry to say, I have seen CATS (although not on Broadway), and it did absolutely *nothing* for me whatsoever. My best guess is that this is because I had my own copy of T.S. Eliot's _Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats_, on which the musical is based, and the images that the poetry put in my head were so disparate from the stage presentation. I didn't like the score either; again, it seemed to interfere with the way I thought Eliot's verses "should" sound. This is a highly subjective personal reaction, I know. But CATS just wasn't my cup of tea at all.
