I was actually thinking about this the other day, because I was also concerned about submitting duplicate questions. Even though you can toss them out, it's still kind of a waste of time, for you and the submitter.

My idea was a way to see all the questions for a given category - not the answers, just the questions. Not only would this save people from submitting duplicates, seeing the existing questions could inspire people to come up with new questions.

Then I thought about the Spelling category, which would have 200 questions about "Which is spelled correctly?", and I gave up on the idea. :)
