I agree with Don. If I wanted to see the original, I would have rented it. I was looking forward to seeing Burton's changes.
In my post, I was not complaining that it wasn't the same as the original. I was telling those who think they know the ending that it *isn't* the same. My complaint was about the silliness of the new ending.
