  Well... I think that I've read, erm, maybe 17 of them *looks around sheepishly*.  I dunno, I read them off and on for a couple of years before I just got completely and totally bored with them.  The fact that there's MORE than 17 of the books should say a thing or two (I think at my last count its at like 23 or 24, though there's probably more now).  They are repetitive but there are some ones that I think were worth reading.  If you're bored at 4 I'd say stop.  IMO the series picked up again at the "second trilogy" (I think it starts with "Man From Mundania" -- book 9?), so maybe you'd be interested in reading that one. Or if you're just interested in a particular character, figure out what book is his/hers, I think they pretty much all get a starring role sooner or later...
