  I saw that show too, and was also very impressed.  Well, actually, I listened to it more than I watched it; I was working on a project at my church at the time, and had the TV turned on for some "company".
  I noticed that when they showed Tom Hanks narrating, he had quite a full beard.  Has he adopted the "bushy beard" look, or did he simply record this documentary while growing out his beard for "Castaway"?  Would he even *have* to grow a real beard for the movie? -- couldn't they stick a fake beard on him if they wanted?
