I agree with Brunnen-G. Why on earth would I want to permanently affix something like a bumper sticker to my car? Knowing me, I would put the bumper sticker on and it would be a bit crooked. Then it would drive me absolutely nuts forever. I used to have one of those removable college stickers in my rear window, and that was okay. Not only could I take it off as many times as I needed until it wasn't crooked, but when I got tired of it I just effortlessly peeled it off. This is the same reason I could never bring myself to get a tattoo. I know that within a year of getting one, I would be sick of it. Not only do tattoos cost money, but it costs even more to get rid of them.

Back to bumper stickers: They do sometimes make me laugh, so I don't mind seeing them on other people's cars. Of course, I don't always like them, but if people want to use them as decorations, I won't complain.

The bumper stickers that annoy me most are the ones that say "Proud Parent of a [insert school name here] Honor Student." It may be a good idea, but I have yet to hear of a kid that *likes* seeing that bumper sticker on his parents' car. If anything, it sticks out like a sore thumb and alienates the poor kid.
