Um. Surely not as black and white an issue as people generally like to think. Likely its a bad idea. I'm sure there are usually better solutions. I wonder, however, if my opinion that making it illegal would cause as many problems as it solves is the result of my disgust at the attitude of many vocal anti-abortionists and not the result of having looked closely at the issue. I don't know but I do sometimes wonder if we take modern medicine just a little too far trying to extend life past the point where we should stop. Not that I'm against all the very positive advances modern medicine has made but I wonder if we sometimes try to extend life when we can't also extend the quality of life.

Sure. But.
Its not a bad idea to have everyone wear something similar but I wouldn't like to be stuck in one of those silly plaid skirts that seem to be the standard school uniform. I wouldn't mind, however, if a school's uniform was (for example) blue or black jeans or pants with a t-shirt or sweatshirt with the school logo on it.
