Funny? Oh, it was supposed to be funny. Whew, that's a relief. I thought it was serious!
I went back and read it again and it really is funny when you catch on that your leg is being pulled. Sometimes if it isn't corny, I don't get it and somebody has to 'splain it to me. Wouldn't it have been awful if your teacher was like me, with no sense of humor!
