RinkChat, NH - The official RinkAwards trophy was unveiled this morning by RinkAwards producer Samuel Stoddard. "It is with great pride and privilege that I provide the world with its first look at the RinkAwards trophy," Stoddard said, just before lifting a blue cloth and displaying an elaborately designed silver cup.

"Each of the RinkAwards winners will be awarded one of these trophies," Stoddard said. "Please note, however, that the winners will not actually receive any trophies. They just get awarded it. In spirit. Kind of."

The unveiling ends a long period of eager anticipation on the part of RinkAwards candidates who were interested in learning what winners would have to show for their accomplishments.

The RinkAwards nominees will be announced Tuesday, and a second round of voting will determine the winners.
