A well done variation on the bank heist subgenre, effectively told using the split-screen technique (analogous to frames in Netscape, for those unfamiliar), which gives the viewer a strong sense of what is going on in different places as the operation progresses. Steve McQueen engineered the heist, Faye Dunaway is an insurance investor, and the pair play well off each other. Unfortunately, the film drags after the heist is completed. At the time of its release, a stricter MPAA gave this film an 'R' rating; by today's standards, it's little more than a 'PG' if any.
