"Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows. Hoo hoo hoo ha ha ha ha ha!"

This is a greatly entertaining comic book movie about the famous hero from the thirties. The Shadow had a life in comic books, then on a radio program, and now, finally, on film. It's as accurate an interpretation of the character as one could reasonably hope for after six decades of ageing and recaptures a little of that 1930s gangster spirit. However, there is very little here, if anything, that's particularly memorable; you'll be lucky if you remember the basic plot the very next day.
