Reviews and Comments

Sam Peckinpah's heist thriller has a pretty typical structure to it -- the first act involves the set-up for a heist, the second act involves its execution, and the third act is the fall-out. But the details and the tone of the film are fresh, edgy, and unpredictable. Twisted character moments and frequently disturbing developments make this one unique. Steve McQueen furthers his reputation as the King of Cool here.
