Roddy McDowall tackles the old West in this Disney flick. He's a family butler with an unyielding sense of propriety, which makes him a fine fish-out-of-water target as he and his 14-year-old charge head West during the Gold Rush to strike it rich. The Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin has an adventuresome spirit and a welcome cheerfulness that makes it fun.
