Both unlikely and superficial, this would-be thriller chronicles the efforts of an ex-con to find a stash of money hidden by an inmate, now dead. There's also some business of killing a cruel prison guard. The movie is so formulaic and slowly-paced that there is no involvement with the characters or even a passing interest in what happens. The relationship between the two leads is wholly unbelievable. By the time the end came along with its surprise twists, I was hopelessly uninterested.
