Frequently, Disney's live action family comedies are better than their weak reputation, but not this one. This oddball of a movie is dry, dry, and dry, and it's hard to imagine that it looked any better on paper. It stars a wasted Maurice Chevalier, in self-caricature mode, and Dean Jones, who made many other live action Disney comedies, some good, some bad, all better than this one.

In a nutshell, the story goes like this: a guy inherits an olive orchard in France and trains monkeys to pick the olives to save on labor. Sound exciting? Didn't think so. Of course, any premise, no matter how ludicrous, can be made into a good movie. But some premises are more likely to make good movies than others, and let's just say that there are no surprises here.
