In World War II, the wondrous Lipizzaner Stallions of the Spanish Riding School (located in Vienna, Austria) were in danger of being destroyed unless they were surrendered into the right hands. Disney's live action Miracle of the White Stallions retells that tale in a rather plodding, textbook fashion, but it does get plenty of chances to show off the Lipizzaners' unique grace and agility. Taken as a family-oriented docu-drama, this is a pretty interesting account of the real life story.
