Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993)

Woody Allen not only reunites with Diane Keaton, his frequent co-star of his early films, but with the kind of movies he made at that time as well. This was the first pure comedy he had made since the 1970s, a spoof of murder mysteries, in which the fearless and ever-inquisitive Diane Keaton drags Woody Allen into one dangerous situation after another. Narrow escapes with killers provide unending opportunities for Allen to prattle off one sharp one-liner after another. Even if you're not an Allen fan -- admittedly, much of his work is an acquired taste -- you may find yourself making an exception for this one.
