Action-packed western that pairs Gregory Peck with bad guy Omar Sharif. Dizzying camerawork is used to good effect. The script falters toward the middle (but picks itself up again), and a laughably obvious blooper occurs toward the end (concerning the behavior of shadows), but these shouldn't spoil an otherwise solid, suspenseful film with good performances.
