Reviews and Comments

A surprising good mobster film, Kansas City Confidential begins with a heist and a frame-up, then moves seamlessly into a revenge flick, where the framed hero infiltrates the ranks of the badguys -- only one of whom ever saw the faces of their comrades. Uncharacteristically dark for its times, it's fast-paced and highly entertaining.
