Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson star in this submarine thriller, unusual for a Hollywood film in that all the main characters are Russians, and Americans hardly figure into the story at all. The cast makes it work: seeing Ford and Neeson, both powerful presences, at odds increases the tension of an already tense situation.
